With Sir Chris and Miss Alon

I love sitting in Chris V’s class. I learned a lot about offline marketing just by listening to him (my forte is online marketing even though my first job was a marketing account officer). Was scolding ABMA76 for not taking this seriously because I was the only one raising my hand whenever Chris would ask a question.

With Alon’s class, on the other hand, I get to psychoanalyze her students because of the strange array of answers they present in class. Those things make her class enjoyable, too.

Alon and Chris are both very mabusisi and are on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to specializations. They both worked in the same agency and while Alon dealt with the health-related accounts, Chris handled the vices. Haha!

Ponzo’s wasn’t at their best when we had our lunch there. I specifically ordered Filipino Paella because Chris is allergic to seafood, and they went and served Seafood Paella. Yare yare! -_-

yeah, i am totally wondering now how i'm going to divide him. lol. this is the first time that he's teaching for two consecutive terms in a year (usually once a year lang eh) and i had to make a special request for that. pestered gerard about it, too.

next term sana i want him to handle VIDPROD1. i'm planning to transfer kasi the first half of the contents of MAWRITE to vidprod1 para maka-concentrate din sila sa scriptwriting na malaliman. super basic lang kasi sa mawrite eh, only the traditional stuff i'd use for non-traditional media na. i also want him to handle ADVERTI kasi talagang super asset siya! as early as now nga, naloloka na ako sa kaka-isip paano ko gagawin yan.

    thank you. 🙂

i hope the hard work pays off. i'm also looking forward to the feedback of graduating batches.

there are so many things i want to do to that flowchart but with CHED mandating it, i can only move within the limits. it's a challenging task, too, so that's the part i'm loving so much.

yeah, we'll definitely need him in ADVERTI when carl goes home to london. (or is it new zealand that he's planning to go to?)

that's one of the reasons why i want to move the first half of the contents of MAWRITE to VIDPROD. kasi napansin ko yung MAWRITE ko at VIDPROD ni sir elvert, nago-overlap. elvert also covers scriptwriting, storyboarding, short film and AVP writing in his VIDPROD.

balak ko sana mag-concentrate on multimedia writing (which actually deals with interactive narrative scripts, storyboarding, premise development and believe or not, may story flowcharting pa yan talaga na hindi ko na na-include kasi sabaw na ang schedule) kaso there has to be a traditional scriptwriting/storyboarding course before that kasi dun manggagaling ang raw content for multimedia writing.

wahahaha! nagsusulat din ako ng outline of the day's discussion sa gilid ng board. i suspect pareho kami ni chris ng reason. makulit kasi kami masyado, pag wala yun sa gilid ng board baka kung san mapunta ang discussion. hahahaha!

ahh! i've thought of a solution, but i hope chris will be up for it.

    team teaching.

he'll cover the first half of mawrite, then he can rest easy on the second half because i'll be covering it. traditional narratives on the first half, interactive narratives on the second half. that way, the 80s and the succeeding batches will benefit from both his knowledge and mine.

added one pic, including Robert. this was taken during the Halloween season in room 213, right after Arlene Cuevas' teaching demo.
