DMAA (20081) at Grappa’s
I must be really happy because I look 20 pounds heavier in these pics. LOL!
I never really liked beer until I tried Grappa’s dark roasted malt. I can’t believe I savored every gulp. And the aroma! Let me just quote my Spot.ph review of it:
“I hate beer. I gag if I so much as smell it so I usually take a swig from the bottle and not from a glass. I go out boozing with buddies once in a while and I do force myself to drink beer when there’s no tequila to be had.
“Grappa’s had me changing the way I think about beer. I had their version of Cerveza Negra (roasted malt) and I was surprised to find myself liking it. It had that sweet taste that I still couldn’t get out of my head. And the aroma! It was served in this huge glass, helping me smell to my heart’s content. My buddies said something about it being freshly brewed so it had none of that distasteful commercial smell.
“Of course, it kind of lost its great taste when I partook of a blueberry cheesecake and some tiramisu for dessert. Beer really should go hand in hand with anchovy pizza so that you can maximize its taste. I’ll do that next time.”
I’ll be adding more pics here in the future, I think. Since I promised to treat these hardworking kids to Krispy Kreme (courtesy of Summit Publishing). If you’ve been through what they’ve gone through (which is tantamount to a hundred needle holes), you’d know that they deserve the treat.

Like with the case of my WEBDEV3 diamond term, I’m now pretty sure that I really left CSB on a high note. Who could ever forget Alen when he noticed that Grappa’s added extra beers to our tab? Or when Diane recounted how she PWNED a certain rotten egg during her defense?

Gad. If it weren’t for my 9PM bed time and my 8AM class, I would’ve stayed up much later. Unfortunately, an entire week’s worth of sleepless nights had me nursing a fever on Saturday. Hahaha! Still, it’s worth the fun.

BTW, we adopted Cham. He doesn’t even know what his section is so he’s now an honorary member of DMAA (20081). Charles claims that our ratio of passing students is 6/8 instead of 5/7…because we consider Cham a part of us.

August 18, 2008 at 5:37 amdinoble nga nila yung kina diane, when diane only finished half a glass kasi she had to drive. si gini ang nakadalawa. tapos naging odd number pa yung classic nung una eh medyo laging sabay mag-order si charles and alen.

August 18, 2008 at 5:41 am500ml isa so tig 4, naka 2 litro kami ni Charles haha. (Think 2 bote ng coke) Pero I just know game pa si Charles nun eh.
Bawas na yan Chameme, 10 yung naka punch na Classic, and 6 na Weizen. Pinabawassan ko ng tig 2, kasi kabisado naman natin. Although mali parin ako kasi akala ko tig 2 si Gini and Di, but naka 1 lang si Di.
Reminder lang sa lahat ng umiinom madalas mangyari yan (kahit saan) pag akala nila hammered na yung mga umiinom, always check the receipt. 🙂

August 18, 2008 at 6:11 amneh. may uses sha ha. mas maganda siguro siya suotin ng naka black leggings or completely walang suot sa baba. open the buttons up hanggang dulo tapos dapat meron kang black spaghetti strap sa loob para hindi scandalous. hehehehe. then add accessories.
