Birthday Celebration Day 5 (VC Crew’s Surprise)
You guys are the best!!!
What I thought was a party to be thrown for Leia alone turned out to be a surprise party for Leia and me. Leia’s birthday is on the 11th. But we had a joint celebration last Friday. With two separate cakes. One dark (mine) and one white (Leia’s). I’m actually a cake fanatic so finally having one for this week in my 30th really meant a lot.
Dino cooked. Again. Love ya, Chef Dino!!! Miggs, my sister Leki, Paul, Jet, Dre, Jade, Yan, JC and Kathy were all there. In fairness, there was so much food that we all had a lot to take home. There was the experimental pasta, chicken barbecue, liempo, chips and dips, baked tahong, tahong soup…red horse and coke. Hehe. I love the VC Crew, even if they scolded me for wanting to sleep during my party. (Miggy’s bed always beckons me and I always end up asleep on it, no matter what occasion.)
There. My week started with a bang and it ended with a bang.
Thanks, guys. Friday really made up for everything. You really know how to make a friend feel so darned gooooooood.
You guys are dysfunctional. Imperfect. Gaga. And beautiful.
