Cosplay-inspired stuff.
Last Sunday, I attended the Cosmania X event, which is a celebration of Philippine cosplay’s 10th anniversary, and found myself gravitating towards many of the costumes displayed. Of course, those wouldn’t help me achieve the Power Butch look but who can resist this?
This cost about PhP300, which I consider to be expensive, since I’m a Wellmanson’s girl. But I wondered if I would ever see something as big as this butterfly again…
I sort of stopped in my tracks and stared at a mannequin who was wearing a butch-y punk look. Which I could have pulled off were I in my teens. Heh.
But that pink jacket at the back of the mannequin seemed interesting enough. Anyway, I was wearing two items that I really loved.
This is a vintage belt from Ukay Manila. Love those details and I love how it gave me a waistline. Haha.
Shoes from Suki. The Festival Mall branch was on sale when my mom and I went there last Saturday. While these clogs were not marked down, we were able to buy about 3 pairs worth PhP599 each and they were on buy-one-take-one mode. So that’s a total of 6 pairs of shoes that appear to cost around PhP299.5 per pair.

October 8, 2010 at 6:42 amHi! Thanks for attending the Cosplay Mania X event. Was there as the Information Booth girl and all-around PR for the group. ;>
Also, your fashion posts are cute, but I think your entry on Ma Mon Luk and its old Chinese movie feel (complete with ubiquitous ipis leg) is made of epic. dXDb

Thanks! That Ma Mon Luk entry was one of my favorites as well.
My event-related post was in the other site, otakufridge.com, though. Haha!
