I watched the remake of Fame last night with Lei, Miel, Dyosa and Russell. It kinda left me feeling…well…I wanted to see what the original was like.

So off to YouTube I went. Wow. Irene Cara rocks. Despite the weird hair, she still looked so beautiful. So talented, really. I heard that while the piano part was really played by a professional, Irene Cara actually played the piano while filming this scene. Of course, during that time, dubbing and stuff were separate from the actual filming.

The guy in this clip reminds me of Nicco. They look so much alike! And the song? The lyrics reminded me of Cris. This is totally something I could imagine her singing if her life were to be turned into a musical.
