Birthday Celebration Day 2 (Peer Pressure Club)

2nd day started with a breakfast of danggit, Mike’s pasalubong from Cebu. Wee. But I was wondering how Nancy would cook this because I think I just burned it. Haha!

Cab Conversations
Twice yesterday, I’ve been asked about my age and you know what happens when you finally answer “the question.” The follow-up question will be if you are married. Geh. The first cab driver, who said I looked like Chat Silayan, nearly paired me off with his 35-year old US-based engineer son. The second cab driver, well…I finally said that it’s probably a woman I need and not a man. Wahahaha.

PPC Party at Sir Ed’s
This was an impromptu celebration of sorts. We just gathered the people we could (in this case, there weren’t a lot because of mixed schedules). I want to say thanks to Mike for doing the groceries, helping me cook and being the gracious host(ess?), serving everyone and making himself useful…even doing damage control when the sauce I prepared came up short. And Ms. Barbs for providing such interesting conversations. She looks so cute in the pictures!! She went straight to the party right after her masteral classes. I wuv Ms. Barbs!!! (We have the same problem about old people asking us our age and demanding to know why we don’t want to get married…)

And Sir Ed, Robert and Dave for finishing up what we prepared. Wee. I missed Elvert, but he promised to party privately with me. Sis Jelucifer may have to celebrate separately, too. Times like these, I miss Janice, Lionel and LeoSantos31. Oi…Danvic was missing, too. Didn’t catch him because he was gone when I got to CSB.

I’m glad everyone liked the quesadilla and the pasta… Pictures of the food, however, are in someone else’s phone cam.
