Graphika Manila (Finally!)

These are my HUCOMIN students, both 2nd and 3rd year.

Got home at 4.30AM Saturday morning because we had a long ingress,
which mostly consisted of us waiting for the constructicons to build
our panels. Anyhoo… Sorry for the quality of the pictures…we only
had camphones. Mine was the worst (can’t even download the ones in
mine). These were taken from Nancy’s camphone.

I arrived at 5PM
because I had class and because I needed sleep…my exhaustion still
shows in my face. But I totally enjoyed listening to Joshua Davis. As
in. Woohoo! I got two of his post cards! Gave one to my sis, actually,
because she wasn’t able to get into the theater. She didn’t have a pass
or a ticket.

I liked Team Manila’s works, but they really should
join Toastmasters International so they could learn how to speak in
front of an audience. (And I kinda don’t agree with them that they
pioneered the use of alibata in their digital artworks. I’ve been doing
that since 1997 noh. Haha!) Anyhoo…Nicco left the theater early because he couldn’t listen anymore. He’s an IT guy, not an artist…but he’d appreciate art if the speaker’s good. Too bad he didn’t get to hear Joshua Davis speak.

Anyhoo, it was fun. But I was kinda disappointed at the exhibit. I need to see more oomph in exhibits.
