Delicious healthy meals at Juju Eats

One jeepney ride away from my condo is this healthy restaurant called Juju Eats. If you are familiar with Juju Cleanse, which I first heard about from my friend Ro of Animetric, this resto is basically owned by the same group.

I first saw the photos of yummy looking salad wraps on my Facebook newsfeed and upon finding out that it’s just along Chino Roces, and that it’s so near another friend’s exhibit venue, I grabbed the chance to visit it.

Above is cucumber juice with Greek salad in wheat wrapping. It’s basically feta cheese, black olives, sun dried tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and balsamic dressing. My first bite: heavenly.

I actually love that you eat it like a burrito but since it doesn’t have rice, you don’t get that guilty feeling of not being able to finish the entire thing.

On the next visit, my boyfriend and I grabbed some buko juice. I forgot to take a photo of the receipt on my first visit but this time, I know that each bottle of buko costs P80.

A bit of bonus: I got starstruck when I saw Erwan Heussaff (of The Fat Kid Inside) inside Juju Eats and I didn’t want to fall in line beside him so I stayed in my seat while the boyfriend ordered for us instead. Yeah, didn’t want to have that dumb look on my face while the gorgeous cook was around.

Because it was waaaay past lunch when we got there, I decided to order something a little bit more filling. Above is tuna nicoise pasta, which costs P160. According to the menu it consists of: fusilli pasta, tuna flakes, french beans, hard boiled egg, sun dried tomatoes, black olives, honey mustard dressing.

It doesn’t feel very heavy but it got me through the rest of the day.

The boyfriend ordered chicken caesar, which costs P175. This is romaine, grilled chicken, parmesan, bacon, herb croutons and topped with caesar dressing. I’m not a fan of caesar salad but this is gooooood!

I wish they’d have branches in Greenbelt, though, so I could just walk. Hehe.

Love this place! I recommended this recently to the Chief Finance Officer of my former studio (she and her husband, the CEO of Anino Games are vegetarians) and she texted me back that she loved it. At first, they thought it was far but then she realized that the travel time was worth it.
I love it, too!
