The Gulay Adventures: Vegetable Juice Experiments
I began by buying this nearly portable juicer, which had stayed in my office cabinet for a couple of months. It took me quite a while before I decided to blend vegetable juice for dinner one night.
And it tasted ok for the first few sips. Then it became yucky. Honey worsened the taste. Buti nalang niloko ko sarili ko and had chicken shawarma before preparing this.
The next day, I tried to rescue the icky gulay juice by buying cornstarch, adding garlic and egg to it, and turning it into soup. I was thinking that maybe I could feed my roommates if it turned out well. It became just a bit more palatable and I was able to finish 2 bowls, but decided not to subject my roomies to it.
Aaaaand finally!!
If you cannot make gulay juice, make gulay shake. Yogurt is best if you do not have enough fruits (or if you are lactose intolerant or needing digestion aids). But bananas go best with fresh milk. Imbento lang.
Next up on my list of adventures to try: Will I able to survive on P100-150/day? Haha!

August 2, 2012 at 8:15 amOo nga eh. Pero hirap ako mabuhay sa juice lang. I thought I would die na yun lang ang dinner ko. Also, parang I want to try the one you did a few weeks back pero hirap ako sa mga pick-up points. Right now nga all my online orders are shipped to my office. Haha!
