Starbucks Planner 2011 Velvet

I was originally aiming to get a Starbucks 2011 planner. In fact, I was even more than halfway through my sticker collection when I received the beautiful Belle de Jour 2011 planner as a gift. Of course, I couldn’t let all those Starbucks stickers go to waste so I claimed my Velvet Starbucks 2011 Planner. There were two other types, Wood and Metal, but Velvet sports my favorite color.

Since I already own a lovely planner, I’m thinking of giving this baby away in my first 2011 contest. I couldn’t resist opening it, though, just to see what it looks like. I was very careful in handling the packaging.

Here’s what caught my attention: attached to the page marker is this really cute trinket that’s shaped like a Starbucks cup.

The writing spaces are pretty big. I can imagine dividing each day into three sections, at the very least.

Here’s what the cover looks like. Even the that is so puuuuurty! I don’t think I have the heart to throw this beautiful packaging away.

Interesting photos of some Starbucks branches. Boy, I almost wish I have a use for two planners so I can have this for myself but…maintaining two actually defeats the purpose of owning one.

So…

I know this is pretty late, since I gave away planners for my last contest (before 2010 ended), but if you guys are still interested in winning this, read on.

I’m actually trying a lot of new things this 2011, starting with my Cebu trip for the Sinulog Festival. I plan to cover that for a particular competition. I’m also going to go out of my comfort zone by holding an art exhibit that features materials I have never handled and mixed together. Scary? Yes. Fun? Most definitely yes. Crazy? YES YES YES.

What I’d like to know is if you guys have other crazy adventures in mind or in store for 2011.

Basically, things you have never done but are thinking of doing or planning to do. You may drop your suggestions at the comment box below or blog about it (but leave your link in the comments area). The most creative answer wins this Velvet Starbucks 2011 Planner.

Additional Points:

You can have more than one entry. Contest ends on January 29, 2011. I’m hoping you guys might think that this pretty little life organizer is worth the wait.

Good luck!!

I would love to go for a trip adventure this 2011. Here are some of my itineraries for the first quarter:

January 30 – Ocean Adventure – Subic, Olongapo City

February 27-29 Panagbenga Festival in Baguio City

March 28 -30 San Juan Batangas

*I'm waiting for the zipline at SM MOA (san miguel by the bay) to be finished and open for the public so I could try it the first time.

I've liked the photo of a velvet 2011 Starbucks Planner at Skysenshi's Hermitage FB page (I really like it)

    1. For almost 6 years now, I've been working in a call center industry. I'm now in the point of being burnt out. And because of this, I will resign this year and will put up a food business with the back pay that I will receive. It may not sound that adventurous to everyone, but this is something that I've been daring to do for the past 5 years and I'm coming out of my shell now.

Since I was a kid, I was afraid of heights. I've always been scared to death of heights, may it be leaning on the window from the 3rd floor of a building, or walking on a hanging bridge. or even the idea of me trying to bungee jump. But hey, that's not what I'm planning to accomplish this 2011. Not yet anyway. I'm not ready for something that crazy. I'll start with some basic stuff first. One of the easiest I think, but I haven't done yet, is to do wall climbing. This might sound lame on some right? But not for me. Aside from this activity being strenuous, I'm still frightened of the idea of me being inches away from the floor. Scares the hell out of me. But I said to myself, this year will be a year of doing many firsts for me. So go, go, go!!! After trying wall climbing (hopefully!!!), since my friends and I are planning another out of town trip this year, we will include Cebu as one of our destinations. And of course, a trip to Cebu will not be complete without trying the Sky Experience Adventure at Crown Regency Hotel. Several of my friends have already tried this and I've seen their pictures and it's one scary way up there at the top. I know there are those harnesses chained on you so it's totally safe. But still, looking down at the bottom sure is scary I'm sure. Just thinking of it gives me the goosebumps. But as I've said, this is the year of trying. So I guess that's two crazy adventures lined up for me this 2011.

My plans is as simple as my existing life. I want to escape to my comfort zone in order to do all my great and ambitious plans for our future.

    1. I must have the guts in order to change my outlook towards my financial independence.

    2. I must shift from linear income to residual income.

    3. I want to explore the possibilities of my talents and skills.

    4. I want to learn everything that interests my passion.

    5. I must conquer my fear of being neglected and left behind.

    6. I will strive to do all my duties with regards my faith and fate.

    7. I will pray harder, give thanks to Him a lot more by any means and help other people by His grace and guidance.

To many to mention but I am a believer. So help me God.

“What I'd like to know is if you guys have other crazy adventures in mind or in store for 2011.”

Last year was very memorable year to me when it comes to travel. My hubby and I got the chance to travel in Singapore all expense paid along with series of local travels.

This year I'd like to go to Hongkong Disney with my family (my 2 kids are very consistent with their request haha) I also wanted to try trekking in Palawan.

And at the end of this year, I'd like to know the New Year's celebration in boracay maiba nmn sa usual n celebration 🙂

Business wise, I'd like to take the risk of franchising my own business. I'm working as a Virtual Assistant for 2 yrs now but I know to myself that, this kind of job is not permanent and is kinda unstable that's why I'm looking forward to venturing into this kind of business.

I liked your page and your photo. That VELVET was my choice to Animetric's contest last month but did not win any that's why I'm hoping to win this one. It's almost half the month and I'm running out of time for acquiring my own organizer.

And I'm actually thinking that this pretty little life organizer of yours is worth the wait.:) Given the chance, I'll definitely take care of it and give justice to it the whole year. I'll gladly and generously share my innermost thoughts, memories, plans, work related notes among others. 🙂 I hope to win this time 🙂

    Thanks,

    Hi B!

Crazy adventure for this year is BOHOL on July! We booked it last year, that's how crazy excited we are. I can't wait to see the wonders of Bohol that I've only heard from other peeps and seen on blogs. I want to feel the sand on my feet, take loads of pictures and suntan!! I want to dance like there's no tomorrow in my sarong and wrap myself in it when the night feel's sooo cold. Really, I could feel the water already (much like how you still feel the waves after staying too long in it?)… But best of all, I'd be going there with the BF and my best friends… somehow, we'll feel like those Tagalog movies where there vacay at the beach and do a dance number. LOL!

But ultimately, this year is all about saying YES to everything I was afraid to do last year. This year, I will conquer my fears like driving out of town.Tomorrow, we will be going to Tagaytay and I will summon all the courage I can just so I could get myself there. 🙂 Hehehe!

I've always wanted this kind of planner from Starbucks. The last one was in 2005 and I filled it with lots of memories. I would even print small posters of movies we watch and paste it on the dates. Planners in this format is more like a journal for me because of how easy it is to write in. Too bad that I wasn't able to finish this one.. 🙁

Hope i still get a chance to own one through this contest! If not, c'est la vie!!

    much love,
    Shen

    1. Fun and crazy things to do in 2011….

Hmmm, I think for the most part, you are correct that doing something out of your comfort zone is truly something crazy (and exhilarating as well! ^_^ )

I am typically a stay at home person even if that home for most of the time is a different part of the country or abroad. Been to different provinces of Luzon, even lived in Mindanao for 6 years also lived in Korea for 2 years. Missed my chance to live in Thailand for 6 months because I was taking my board exams at that time and my parents didn't want me to postpone it for another semester. Oh well.

You might laugh when I tell that for 2010 the most adventurous thing I did was getting lost in Hawaii at night. >_< I was shopping at Target just to see if the coupons I printed off the internet would work at their store. It did and I saved about $15.00 and in the process shaved about 10 years of my life because I got lost and didn't have a car (because I don't know how to drive) at that time so I took the bus. The Bus (yes, the name of the company handling bus services there is The Bus. hehehe. ^_^) was ok but what I was worrying about was bus services didn't run up that late (it was already 9pm at that time) To cut a long story short, I got at my hotel around 12mn and promised myself that I would never do that again. So what has that story got to do with my adventure for 2011? Well, I learned that I can be more independent than what I thought myself to be. That when you are all alone in a foreign country with no one to help you, you find the courage to face the crisis on your own. So for 2011, although I don't plan on getting lost again anytime soon. I plan on traveling around asia, i guess those places that don't need visas. ^_^ I plan on enrolling myself in either piano or violin classes again and participating in a recital. (The thought simply gives me the hives. All those people watching!) Since I am also finishing up my masters in structural eng'g. I plan on accepting my first solo design job. (A bit daunting as well! ) Basically, testing my limits. ^_^ I think for the most part when people say adventure, images of exotic places come to mind. They are adventures but I think the best adventures for me comes closer to home and family-like getting married, having your first baby. Seeing your baby brother successful at his job. Seeing your parents getting old and living happily (which makes me believe that happily ever after is achievable. ^_^) I am still working on the first one (getting married) but if that doesn't materialize, I think that I have lived my life exactly as what I want it to be. Happy and at peace with who I am as a person. So happy 2011 to you, sis! Goodluck on the art exhibit and let's face 2011 together with optimism.
