BRTC Medi Stem Collagen System
I received this box of BRTC Medi Stem Collagen System from Anna, who’s now doing Korean product sprees instead of pre-orders. I used to buy my BB creams from Anna, and my favorite was the BRTC Blemish Recover Balm. So when she offered to send me BRTC’s new skincare line, I immediately accepted.
What you see up there is the Medi Stem Collagen toner. It’s actually a part of this set:
On the left side are 5 sachets of the Medi Stem Eye Cream and on the right side are 5 sachets of the Medi Stem Collagen Cream. Anyway, I think this is an anti-aging line though I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, since I can’t read Korean. Although as I understand it, this is meant for women aged 40 and above. It’s supposed to improve the appearance of wrinkles with the use of plant stem cells (which are known to extend skin’s life), adenosine and collagen. It should also brighten skin with its dimelaena/de-mela complex.
Both the eye cream and the collagen cream feel pretty good on the skin and I do feel the suppleness every time I wake up. As for wrinkle fixing, I’m still not sure about that since I have a long way to go before reaching the age bracket that this system targets. Older women would probably see the effects more.
I received this set a week before my Transitions exhibit and I used it the week after, since I didn’t want to compromise its quality. I knew I would be exposed to the sun daily, so I wasn’t using anything but sunblock.
Both the eye cream and the collagen cream go a long long long long way. I made this set last for two weeks, using the creams day and night.
I could’ve wished for a larger bottle of toner, however, because it ran out on the first week. I liked the toner, because it made me feel fresh and clean. As you can see, it’s very clear. This set smelled a lot like the old Clinique skincare products that my mom used when I was a kid. (Ah, don’t you just love remembering the scent of your mother, especially when you were a little girl?)
The system came in this thin box. I actually held it upright so you can see what’s on the cover. Those are the only English words you’d see. Haha. I swear some Korean brands seem like you need to learn rocket science in order to appreciate them. Gosh, haha!
You can visit Anna’s Multiply Store (again, she does sprees) for more details about this product.
