MICMNGT – The Knowledge Economy Engine II
Translating your processes into knowledge foundation. I have finally left behind the remnants of my ties with Level Up! (except perhaps when they would get me again for consultancy, as is usual when they’re lacking knowledge workers for a particular episode) when I got my final salary last week. I hope they’re making use of the processes the original team left behind. Anyway, whenever they need translations, I’m always available via YM. That way, they wouldn’t be burdened with reinventing the wheel. The wheel’s already there, it’s just a matter of making it work.
Most of my insights about this topic can actually be found in the last two activities and the Finals. I suppose my group and I will be using the Academe for our case. Rhea and Rose are both from the academe. And come January, I will be part of it too. For now, I’m just looking at the slides that I have “inherited” from the former professor who taught Human Computer Interaction (HCI). I’m really itching to modify a few stuff since I don’t actually understand the processes my predecessor wanted to happen. Slides aren’t easily taught if you’re not the one who made them. But I don’t want to throw the entire thing away. I’d like to be able to make use of the tools and information that had been left behind.
I guess this will be my first step in preserving or managing knowledge in this new industry that I find myself in. I will have to have a talk with other HCI professors so we’d have a unified and simplified way of going about this. ^_^
