Experimental Bronze Goddess
I was so aliw with Shu Uemura’s palette, especially with the Pressed Eyeshadow in M Yellow and the Air Bronze limited edition mousse that I experimented with the Bronzed Goddess look. It was a bit difficult to pull off, though, as Shu Uemura colors are very gentle and light. You have to put A LOT in order for the effect to be visible on the camera. A good fake tan lotion is also very very handy.
This was for Tita Gina’s induction as District Governor for Toastmaster’s International. I didn’t think that the Air Bronze mousse could substitute for lipstick (I had to top it off with lip balm for moisture) but I think I like the results. I posted a comparison photo of me back in 2003 at a friend’s wedding wearing the same dress but sporting the natural look.

This thing could turn into a hobby because I don’t want to do makeup on my face all the time. I want YOUR face to be my next canvass. Hahahahaha! Trust me, it’s therapeutic. It’s like painting something… I noticed my mind wanders off when I paint my face and it’s very relaxing.
