Moving into the new condo (it’s actually ours and not rented!) was exciting. Was so excited about the move that I didn’t care that there were still lots of things to be fixed (like leaks, general cleaning, water heaters, internet). I wanted Jayvee, Cris and Kwini to see. Cris volunteered to cook okonomiyaki. I’m absolutely nuts about this Japanese pancake (especially the ones being served at Little Tokyo) and was thrilled to find out that Cris was able to get the recipe. Jayvee volunteered to cook pasta.
The first problem of the night surfaced when Jayvee and I arrived to find a shocked Cris. Leaking kitchen sink. First time it did that since I moved last Sunday, so you’ll notice some newspapers scattered around the floor. Instead of fretting, we joked about it. Since we also lacked utensils (remembering my finicky mom saying, “Maglagay nga kayo ng matinong plates Naka-plastic pa kayo eh di na kayo mga studyante!”) we decided to eat pasta with chopsticks.
My sister arrived later that night, much to Jayvee and everyone else’s amusement. Hahahahahahaha!

March 12, 2009 at 9:16 ammy mom actually bought it and was having it rented out. kaso nung nagdalaga na kami ng kapatid ko, kinailangan ng sariling place na accessible. nomad ako for the past 4 years eh kasi i swear, ang hirap lumabas ng BF (my parents' house).
i also miss the condo i rented at the providence tower 2 years ago, kasi yun talaga ang pinaka-accessible na place i've ever lived in.
