Enjoy art and dining at Brasserie Boheme

Located at the ground floor of the Picasso Boutique, Brasserie Boheme restaurant is one of those interesting restaurants that looks like the perfect place for a date or quiet conversation. A friend and I dined here because we happened to visit the art exhibit of Raphael and Alab Pagarigan. So I basically enjoyed the view of Raphael’s metal works while munching on this wonderful fruit meringue dessert.

I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to eat at first so the waiter directed our attention towards their Prixe Fixe menu. For P700+ you get to choose an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. This comes with tea or coffee.

I swear we were so full after this dinner. Before the 3-course meal, we were given a plate of bread and butter. It’s pretty standard for most restaurants but I did not expect the servings to be huge.

Good thing we decided on getting soup instead of salad, just to warm our tummies up. This is roasted pumpkin soup.

I don’t eat pork but my companion ordered this succulent-looking pork dish. He says it tasted like lechon   –– crunchy on top and juice inside —  and it had a bit of bagoong. He did not know what to make of the bagoong sauce so he ate the pork as is and declared it flavorful enough.

I got seafood ravioli. What you see on top of it are crunchy bits of squid. Very filling.

The dessert below is chocolate truffle cake. It’s actually pretty good — gooey and chewy — considering I don’t like chocolate cake.

And lastly, I just had to post a photo of the interiors. It doesn’t seem to get filled up even during dinner, which is part of the reason why I like this place. It’s hard to believe that this actually likes at the heart of the Makati Central Business District. It’s so…private!

The waiters are attentive and pretty quick we were happy customers. Next time, I’ll try to visit during the day so my photos wouldn’t look so…dark. Haha.

The Brasserie Boheme is located at:
119 LP Leviste St, Salcedo Village
1227 Makati
