Products I can’t live without. The Face Shop hoards.

There were two products I reviewed a long time ago and they’ve stood the test of time. In fact, I can’t go anywhere without them. I can leave my kikay kit at home, but I get restless when I don’t have these.

One is The Face Shop’s Plus 1 Lip Care Cream and the other is Bobbie Cuticle Oil. Bobbie is readily available at Watson’s. My perennial problem, actually, is the lip balm. They’re always out of stock so whenever I find a Face Shop branch that has them, I hoard these babies. Thank goodness, The Face Shop at the Alabang Town Center had them.

Yeah, there are about five of those lip care creams in this photo. These should last me a whole year.

You might notice that I’ve bought two additional products. One, on the right, is the Freshian Volumizing Mascara. I gave my sister one of these when I still didn’t know how to use a mascara and it turned out to be a favorite in her beauty arsenal.

The other newbie in my collection (on the left) is the Extreme Brush Pen Eyeliner. I tried it while I was at the counter and I just proved to be the biggest idiot when it comes to applying liquid liner.

The pretty saleslady applied it on me and then taught me how to use it. This is how things turned out:

(Sorry. I don’t have the clearest skin. Hehe.)

Anyway, I noticed that among all the salesladies in the store, two had outstanding eye make-up. The first was the one who helped me with my liner dilemma. She was using purple shadow so creatively. (Ugh, I should have taken a photo). And the second was the cashier. She was using a gradation of greens.

I asked them if they were trained to do such fabulous make-up and they did say that it was part of their training. Now, I’m wishing for an eye make-up workshop from The Face Shop. Wah!

Anyhoo, I got an extra out of this enjoyable exercise and I’m giving it away. Contest time!!!

This is The Face Shop’s lip gloss. Looks shiny, ne? To join this contest, you simply have to answer the question: “What beauty products can’t you live without and why?”

You can either answer via the comments box OR blog about your answer and leave your link in the comments box. The best answer wins.

Additional points:

  1. Will be given to those that like this photo I posted in the Skysenshi’s Hermitage FB Fan Page.
  2. Spread the word about this contest. Tag Skysenshi’s Hermitage, so I can keep track of you.

Contest ends on December 5, 2010. I’m also re-drawing the raffle for my Missha BB Cream giveaway if the winner, Nacho Bing, still doesn’t contact me with her mailing address and real name on December 5, 2010. If Nacho Bing is reading this, you may contact me through this form.

I can't live without Body Shop's body mists collection. Although classic, I prefer the musk scents for women. I have bought one lip gloss 2 months ago that I still use until now. It keeps my lips moist and not chappy.

Miss, I think I can't live without my Nichido Concealer because it serves many uses to my face!aside from being a concealer I use it as primer and foundation! I actually prefer it than my etude concealer I bought 9 months ago…
cheap but very reliable, not to mention its very light on the face at the same time it covers my blemishes! woot! πŸ˜€

I can't live without the following beauty products:

    a. Human β™₯ Nature Organic Facial Wash in Calendula & Seaweed — I love washing my face with this cause it keeps my face supple and toned without leaving it dry.

    b. Olay Total Effects UV Moisturizer SPF 15 — This is my tried and tested all-around skin solution. Aside from moisturizing my face, I use it as a primer, anti-aging cream, sunscreen, and pore refiner. Plus, with this, I can make do without my eye cream and still gain awesome results.

    c. Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick in Rosy Blush — I cannot be caught dead without wearing blush. I love this one because, aside from its nice warm pink shade that suits almost all complexions, it is highly pigmented, creamy, and blendable. Also, a little of it goes a long way.

What beauty products can't you live without and why?

    – The beauty product i can't live without would be lip balm Nivea. Nivea lip balm keeps my lips moisturized and it makes my lips a kissable lips.. A lip balm is a good keeps because dry lips would make the face look old and ugly even if you put make-up on.. So i bring my nivea lip balm anywhere..

moisturizer with sunscreen (haven't found The One yet), chapstick and mascara (currently using maybelline unstoppable in shiny black). it's the only stuff i can manage to put on in 5 minutes, and just about all i need to look like a reasonably decent person. πŸ™‚

    I must have:

    1. Garnier Light Complete – fave moisturizer (as of now)

    2. Ever Bilena Liquid foundation in Oriental and Studio Finish stick foundation – really helps in hiding my uneven skin tone and it does not have that sticky feel. EB pressed powder in Honey completes a matte look.

    3. Careline Lip and Cheek tint – an easy to use lippy and blush alternative on the go.

    4. Liquid eyeliner – I don't have a fave brand though. But I love liquid liners because it creates a sharper definition for my chinita eyes.

Nope, didn't use a curler. The mascara came from one of The Face Shop's testers. Haha!

    @Isea
Yup, when I do get around to using it. I'll probably use it for my next event, which is scheduled on December 12. (Gah, my schedule's all mixed up.)

I can't live without Maybelline Clear Smooth Face Powder in Honey. It's not heavy on the face and it provides the best coverage for a very, very fresh look. It's funny how girls spend so much time putting on make-up just to get that “no-make-up look!” Hahaha! So ironic! Well, with Maybelline, you can always achieve that. I just started using make-up now because I just graduated but during school days, I don't take the time to prettify myself with cosmetics. I just put make-up on my pictures through Photoshop! Hahaha! Face Shop's products would be a great start-up for my skin because I know it's gentle and not that striking so I won't get shocked by it. 'Hope I win this!

What beauty products I can't live without and why?

    There are only three beauty products that I can’t live without. I can let go of the others but not;
    1. lipstick – I feel so damn naked going out without lipstick. Currently I’m dabbing on Revlon Superlustrous Lipsticks. I’m playing on different colors.

    2. eyeliner – my husband would tease me to often check on my eyes to avoid looking like a panda, but I always love my eyelids look so rich and mysterious with this beauty add-on. Love the local brand Ever Bilena.

    3. Moisturizer – I’ve been an avid Nivea fan, their Visage Sparkling White moisturizer works well for me both the night and the day cream.

What beauty products can't you live without and why?

Hmmmm, I am a guy and I have acne-prone skin. So my number one beauty products on the list is facial wash/soap that can wash my face thoroughly. Second is my toner, usually like Eskinol and any whitening cream/moisturizer. Then I also used concealer for dark circles under my eyes and foundation to cover up my blemishes. Finish it with loose or compact powder and I'm ready to go. :)))

I already liked the photo and the fanpage. Sana manalo ako please. hehe or kahit yung Misha BB cream na lang sa akin waah

I can't leave without a lip palette. I love lip palettes because I can't live with only one color of lipstick! With lip palettes, I can easily change my look depending on my mood (sexy, vampy, tweetums, etc). Different looks in a day is possible with lippalettes. Plus, I can bring it anywhere, even if I am only carrying a purse or clutch. Lip palettes/lip color can easily give me that confidence and made up look even without the real make up and the works!

I can't live without Avon Lip and Cheek Tint. This blusher stays on my cheeks the whole day. Since I also don't want to wear makeup everyday of the week, especially when I've to go out on weekends, I just put on moisturizer then apply the lip and cheek tint blusher and I'm good to go.

I can't live without my The Face Shop Plus+1 Lip Care Stick. I have this dry and chapped lips ever since. I have tried different lip balms and lip glosses from Avon to Nivea but nothing changed. And when I have tried my Plus+1 lip care stick-pomegranate, I have never went out without it on my pocket. It flatters my lips with a pinkish color and most of all it gives moisture to my cracking, chapped and dry lips. I just can't live without it.

I hope I win coz I'm a The Face Shop big fan and user. I also have my The Face Shop Eye Shadow. πŸ™‚

the beauty products that I can't never ever live without is my EYEBROW PENCIL… w/o it, I am plain, bold, a shrek, totally disaster!. Well maybe that is the only problem I have because I admit, I do not have a good eyebrow curve. That is why when I learned how to apply an eyebrow, I can now draw any curve I want (I'm always trying to have angelica panganiban's eyebrow)it gives me self confidence. My eyebrow adds an attraction in eyes. That's why EYEBROW PENCIL is always the first in my list of beauty products that I can't live without. My husband and friends knows it! then lipgloss is the second! and then blush-on, concealer, liquid eyeliner, mascara… =) that's how I glams up!

I am not a 'make-up person'. Just a blush on my cheek and a tint on my cheek and I'm good to go. I never really get to do make-ups because I always lack time. But one beauty product I can never leave without is St. Ives' anti-blemish/acne facial wash. It makes me feel so refreshed after washing up. Plus it has soft beads that massages my face well. And the scent of it makes me wanna use it all the time. =)

I can't live without my Maybelline pure concealer. I don't have a perfect skin. I have dark marks from pimples coming out of like no where (sheesh!) in days before my period. I have dark under eye circles that I don't know why I have since i sleep early than a lot of people do. I also have puffy eyes ftw (come'n it's hereditary! i can't do anything about it!) Thus, i really need a concealer to achieve that flawless (so-so) look. πŸ™‚

What beauty products can't I live without?

    1) Cetaphil facial cleanser–> If this soap-free cleanser is good for babies' skin, then it's also good for my skin!

    2) Loreal anti-imperfection moisturizer–> Really lives up to its promise on my oily skin.

    3) Pond's White Beuaty toner–> My friends noticed the results! And my acne marks faded!

    4) Loreal Telescopic Clean mascara–> Defines your lashes in a natural way.

    5) Hawaiian Tropics SPF 45 sunblock–> Lips are an underestimated part of our skin but we still need to protect it!

    6) Nivea lipbalm in cherry–> Inexpensive but it colors my lips in a healthy rosy gleam.

7)Clinique blushwear creamstick in nude blush-> Has the most natural rosy hue.

    *In2it Eyebrow Powder*
I really love this product, this is my favorite make-up. I like having neat and defined eyebrows because it enhances my face. I also used it as an eyeshadow/contour.

    *Fashion21 Liner/Eyeshadow Stick*
Another product that I can't live without. I used this to highlight the face especially the browbone and bridge of the nose.=) I also used this in the inner corners of the eyes to brighten tired eyes.

I like multipurpose products because I`m so lazy to carry a make-up kit.

Ever since i am a lipstick addict, I can leave the house without any other makeup on my face but not without a lipstick. I felt totally nude when i'm without it and I take pride of my big pouting lips. I feel sexy when i am wearing my favorite lipsticks. With my different shade of lipsticks i can be sweet, bold, regal, flirt, angry and lovely.

When i'm in my highschool years, i have tried different shades like, green, blue, black, bright red, and violet.

Hmmm my ultimate must-have product is my trusty vaseline lip therapy. 2 years ago, I developed allergies to certain makeup, but I never found out exactly what I'm allergic to. I visited a couple of doctors, until finally, a derma advised me to revert to vaseline. Oh boy, was he right! Allergies are gone (well…except if I wear fake jewelry) and my lips have not chapped since!

I have chapped lips. I think this may have started in my early high school years, peeling the loose dry parts innocently. Had I known my mechanism for the boring would live through my teenage years UNTIL NOW I would have opted for something less costly habit, like playing with my hair or something.

So one beauty product I certainly can't live without is lip gloss. Preferably cherry chapstick. My lips are totally addicted to it, I practically apply it every 3 hours to keep them from drying. I just wish they didn't made chapstick so addicting to save more money.

    Cheers!

    (ooppsss… pls. let me in!^_^)

They say eyes are windows to the soul; lips however, must then be the very symbol of sensuality.

I love lipstick and lip gloss because it makes me look good and feel good.
    It's definitely a woman thing.
If I'm feeling just ordinary, I put on some bright lipstick and I feel like a woman again. I like watching my lips brighten as I apply it. I love the way it feels when I apply it, while I'm wearing it, when I talk or do anything with my lips while wearing it.
I love the glosses too to add shine on my lipstick! I enjoy wearing it around the house too like in this pic, modeling on my own, taking pic in my own way..haha

For me it pampers me as a Mom!
It makes me feel prettier and looking like a supermodel! haha

Therefore, it's so obvious LIPSTICK and LIP GLOSS is the beauty products I can't live without!

I made this one…Nothing! I just loved it! lols
    Hope u like it too.
