Coffee Prince | Missha Raffle Winner Round 1
Part of the reason why my sore eyes wouldn’t go away — besides the fact that I had been writing my final papers — was that I was going through Korean and Japanese drama marathons. The most frustrating part about having sore eyes is that you’d get so freakishly bored when you’re stuck with them. I’d actually love to go to work, if I weren’t afraid of contaminating everyone else.
Anyhoo, this was the first series I’ve finished within the week: Coffee Prince
커피프린스 1호점 or Coffee Prince is a fun romantic comedy about a spoiled rich dude, Choi Han Kyul (played by Gong Yoo
I just felt so sorry for Choi Han Kyul. Can you imagine being so tormented by “forbidden” feelings in an ultra-conservative society? Looking at all the actors in this series, I’d be confused as well. Everyone’s so pretty. Sheesh. Especially the waffle dude, Sun Ki (Kim Jae Wook
What I couldn’t get over, actually, was the fact that Choi Han Kyul looks so much like my former boss Mike Lagumbay. They have the same cute smile (eyes that disappear into mere slits, dimples that overpower the face).
I swear, the resemblance is so uncanny!! It actually made me wonder where Mike is now…
Anyway, since we’re on Korean ground this very moment, I’d like to announce the winner for the first round of my Missha Giveaways. (Missha is one of the more popular Korean beauty brands and I’ve written about them in my BB cream review and the actual contest.)
