The Mysterious Gold Leaf Gift

This year, members of the faculty have been finding the strangest freebies in our pigeon hole. Well, I call them strange because these items have an uncanny knack for coming in at the right time. I needed a notebook for my studies and voila! We suddenly have free, high-quality notebooks.

This time around, a few select professors and instructors seem to have received this box in our pigeon holes:

We actually do not know where it’s from and who gave it. One thing’s for sure: we are very thankful for this. Tea, especially chamomile, has a calming effect and it helped relax us. This something we need, since we are in a job that requires a whole chunk of brain power and patience. Now that finals week is nearing, we are also at our most stressed. This bundle couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

I was actually intrigued by this packaging. I have bought Gold Leaf before but this is the first time I’ve seen them be meticulous about appearances. Not only that, it also has a short write-up inside that tells of how beneficial tea is to our health: “reduced cholesterol, controlled high blood pressure and lowered risk of heart attack, stroke and cancer.”

I’m not quite sure about it being able to “suppress the aging process” but I do know that drinking green tea is good for your digestion if you make a habit of it after every meal.

See? We got a complete set. These also happen to be my favorite tea flavors. I still wonder who plopped these into our pigeon holes. Whoever you are, you have my utmost thanks!

Not really :D. I remember my roommate using a webcam from his laptop to find out who was taking my kleenex wipes. Turns out it was my one dormmate who was using it to clean his glasses. LOL

If I left my laptop webcam on in that area it might end up getting stolen. LOL!

Magastos! šŸ˜› I could say that we could simply ask the receptionists but so many people pass by that hall that it would be hard to tell.

Sana magsalita man lang sha, haahaha! Whoever it is that gave us these.
